Overview

We’re looking for a driven and experienced Civil Site Engineer to lead and expand our civil site operations in Charleston, SC. This leadership position blends technical expertise, business development, and team management. The ideal candidate will help shape our strategic direction while overseeing project delivery and ensuring financial success across the practice.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate growth strategy with office and practice leadership

• Build and strengthen our local market presence

• Drive business development and client engagement initiatives

• Manage departmental budgets and resource allocation

• Lead proposal development and represent the firm in client meetings

• Act as technical mentor to project managers and engineering staff

• Assess staffing needs and support recruitment efforts

• Conduct team performance reviews and provide ongoing mentorship

• Oversee delivery of high-quality, multidisciplinary engineering projects

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field (from an accredited program)

• Active Professional Engineer (PE) license

• 10+ years of experience in site civil engineering

• Proven success in project management and business development

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools
